How to use the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro’s Action mode

Posted on

Action Mode is a feature introduced in iOS 13 that lets users take screenshots without having to press the power button. You can do this by pressing and holding down the volume buttons on either side of the phone. If you’re using an iPhone XS Max, iPhone 11 Pro Max, or iPhone 11 Pro, you’ll need to hold both volume buttons at once.

If you want to capture a screenshot while listening to music, you’ll have to pause it first. To do this, double-tap the screen to bring up Control Center, then tap the Music icon. Tap Pause, and then tap the Screenshot button again.

If you want a screenshot of something else, just open any app, and then tap the Home button twice. A menu will pop up, letting you choose what to screenshot.

You can also take a screenshot of the lock screen. Just swipe up from the bottom of the screen to reveal the control center. Then, tap the Settings icon, followed by the General option. Finally, scroll down to the Screenshots section, and tap Lock Screen.

To take a screenshot of the home screen, swipe up from the bottom edge of the display. You’ll see a menu appear, where you can select what to screenshot.
